FOUNDING PRINCIPAL
Charlie Gilbert
Over the past 20 years Charlie has led blue chip businesses and projects through the UK, Europe, North America and the Caribbean. The combined value of the projects which he either ran directly or for which he was responsible exceeds $6 billion.
Born in the UK, Charlie went straight from attaining his real estate degree at university into the construction business, quickly earning a reputation as a master of detail in the management of costs and projects.
Charlie absorbed a breadth of knowledge and skills from the general contractor, owners representative and developer sides of the industry, which he put to profitable use on behalf of some notable private equity firms and developers.
As a business leader in his own right, Charlie has enjoyed success in the real estate, digital marketing and hospitality sectors, all the while building an impressive roster of professional contacts in New York, Miami, the Caribbean, London and Dubai.
Drawn to his dynamic leadership style, Charlie has assembled a ‘dream team’ network of acclaimed brokers, lawyers, design and construction experts, chartered cost managers, analysts, and project managers.
Charlie has the gift of seeing opportunities that are not immediately obvious to other entrepreneurs and for approaching projects and deals with creativity and drive.
MANAGING PRINCIPAL
Tom DiEgidio
Tom is the consummate real estate finance professional. He has amassed 30 years in private equity and real estate fund administration and been responsible for tens of billions of dollars in assets under management.
A Certified Public Accountant and Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Tom’s stellar career has featured high-profile leadership roles at Philadelphia-based FD Fund Administration, a subsidiary of Frazier & Deeter, and Ultimus LeverPoint.
Prior to FDFA, Tom held senior management roles at Citi Private Equity Services and BNY Mellon, overseeing accounting administration and reporting for his clients’ multi-billion dollar investment partnerships.
Earlier in his career, he served as controller for CMS Companies, a private equity and real estate investment advisor.
Five years after joining FDFA, Tom was appointed CEO in 2020 and grew the firm’s assets under administration to over $30 billion before it was acquired by Ultimus in 2021.
As President of Ultimus LeverPoint, Tom was responsible for the development and implementation of business strategies as well as new sales growth for the private fund business.
